The Getty Partnership & Arts Integration

At ICEF, we believe learning in core subjects is enhanced and strengthened through the arts. We are currently engaged in a five-year partnership with The J. Paul Getty Museum. This partnership primarily focuses on arts integration and teacher training. Educational Specialists from The Getty prepare and lead quarterly teacher workshops, where our Arts teachers collaborate with select single subject teachers to implement arts integrated lessons in elementary, middle, and high school History, Science, and English. 

The Getty also offers our students VIP tours and an after-school arts leadership program for middle and high school. Several of our high school students have participated and been featured in The Getty’s teen app, Unshuttered, a platform highlight social issues through photography.
