Uniform Policy

Student Dress Code Uniform Policy

Implementing a strict dress code supports a safe and disciplined learning environment and promotes good citizenship. For this reason, ICEF Public School has adopted a mandatory school uniform policy in all school sites. Students must dress in complete uniform Monday through Friday or as instructed by the school Director. In addition to the uniform requirements, students must show proper attention to personal hygiene, cleanliness, safety, and suitability of clothing and appearance.

Students must be in complete uniform daily
◦    Polo shirt with logo in grade level color
◦    Khaki bottoms --9th, 10th, & 11th grade
◦    Gray/Khaki bottoms-- 12th grade
Students must wear a black/brown belt with pants (no large buckles or gang affiliated buckles)

Outerwear and Headgear Policy
Outerwear must be solid white, solid grey, or solid black in a preferred crew neck style. No logos allowed, with the exception of Marathon sweatshirts.
VPPHS sweaters are available to purchase.
Hoods are to remain off inside any building and/or classroom.
No hats, beanies, head scarves, or head wraps are to be worn (excused outside during active rainy weather).

No blue jean jackets; solid black, gray or white jean jackets are allowed on campus.
CDC recommendation/school district guidelines: PROTECTIVE MASKS ARE REQUIRED WHILE ON CAMPUS/SCHOOL ACTIVITIES AT ALL TIMES.

Shoe Policy
Shoes that are all black, all white, or black and white are encouraged!
Students can continue to wear shoes of other colors except for primarily any shade of RED or Blue. (If 50% or more of the shoe is RED or BLUE, this is considered NOT acceptable).
ABSOLUTELY NO: house shoes, slippers, crocs, flip-flops, clogs, or sandals.
 
Uniform Violations
}  1st Offense – Call Home + Parental corrective support/uniform item confiscation if possible
}  2nd Offense - Call Home + Lunch detention
}  3rd Offense – Call Home + After detention
}  4th Offense - Call Home + Saturday detention 
}  5th Offense - Call Home + Removal from school activity, required parent conference, signed contract
PE uniform t-shirts are now available for purchase in the main office. PE t-shirts are required for all students who have a PE class. Students or parents may purchase t-shirts for $8 in the office. Students must provide and wear their own PE bottoms (not sold by the school).
