Career and Technical Education (CTE) is an integral feature of the standard curriculum at ICEF. Scholars establish an Annual Individualized Education Plan (IEP), expressing their interests in college, trade school, or any future endeavors. The CTE program is a choice based CTE Pathway elective that reflects student investment in Business, Visual Arts and Design, Film, Music, and Drama/Performing Arts.

Business
Students who aim to excel in entrepreneurship and workplace management learn essential principles of business, marketing, and finance, including economies and the global marketplace. CTE Business Pathway Recruitment revolves around VPHS Market Day, where students gain first-hand experience in sales and elevator pitches. |
Visual Art & Design
Slated to return to the curriculum in Fall 2026, ICEF offers a creative entry to visual arts and graphic design as a means of storytelling, as well as the annual ICEF Art Fair held each spring. The fair highlights creations developed by students throughout the school year and celebrates their boundless potential as artists. |
Stage & Screen
ICEF scholars put creative expression on display through various forms of media, including Film and Music Production. Plus, the network's award-winning Performing Arts program produced two annual stage productions, a collaborative between LA Opera & CTE Drama for fifth graders, and a Summer Drama Camp for ICEF elementary and middle school students. |
