The Visual and Performing Arts Department is an integral part of the standard curriculum at ICEF. We believe the whole child must have opportunities to explore their talents and engage in self-expression, and that a comprehensive and vibrant arts program is essential to providing a comprehensive education. Our arts program dedicates itself to building skills in innovation, cultural relevancy, critical-thinking, and problem solving.

All visual arts classes start with the foundations of art language, history, and studio experience. Middle and high school students are offered a wide array of visual and performing arts classes and extra-curricular programs from which to choose. With the arts being the primary component of Los Angeles’ creative economy, our teachers also focus on exposing students to various career pathways in the arts.
